We at LePort understand how upsetting it must be for one's child to be de-enrolled due to behavior problems. We pride ourselves on providing an outstanding education in a safe environment, and we take the responsibility of educating and nurturing each one of our students very seriously.

When a behavior issue arises, our teachers, parents, and administrators work as a team to find a solution that is right for the child, as well as our entire student body. As outlined in our parent handbook (which prospective parents are welcome to review), some of our problem-solving steps include: gentle redirection in the classroom, modeling and discussion of appropriate behavior, recommendation of community resources for parental support, and multiple meetings with parents, teachers, and administrators, with follow-up sessions to assess progress. We invest considerable time and effort to finding alternative solutions to behavior problems.

If a behavior problem is compromising the safety or education of the children under our care, we will de-enroll a student. This is a rare occurrence, however, and is resorted to only when other options have been exhausted. Our track record--including overwhelmingly positive parental feedback, high re-enrollment rates, and hundreds of thriving students--speaks for itself. Please find contact information at www.LePortSchools.com if you have any further questions.

Actually rating would be zero stars, though Google does not allow such a rating. Do yourself and your child a favor and avoid LePort!

This 'school' has a ridiculous enrollment policy that allows them to remove your child from enrollment with little warning. This happened to my son after he and several other children in his toddler class were envolved in an esculating series of biting. Unfortunately LePort has a policy of removing children that are misbehaving rather than interceding and correcting the behavior. Furthermore, LePort provided little warning and did nothing to curb the behavior (of any of the children) within the class. Now I am left with trying to find a school for my three year old within two days of giving birth to my second child.

You should know that prior to taking my son to LePort he was a very charming little boy that played well with others. Now, after less than six months at LePort he has regressed socially and screams at others for attention, he has regressed in his potty training, and as covered above has started biting. Thank you LePort for teaching my son such wonderful behaviors!

For a school to de-enroll a child from a school is not something they look forward to. If that child was kicked out it meant that the child was incredibly agressive. A lot of times, parents think they have an angel when in fact is the opposite. I am a parent and my family has encountered situations where the kid was chocking outher kids (including my own). The mother seemed nice, but the behavior was never corrected. We also had a case when the kid was terribly disruptive - talking out lound, shouting during the class lessons. He, too, was kicked out. Just because you are willing to pay private school prices, it does not mean that you can drop off your trouble making kid and expect that the teachers spend the time educating him/her on proper behavior. Sorry, but I am with the school on this one.
