I was highly disappointed. I have eaten there several times, mostly before the restaurant came under new management. Before the change in hands, the restaurant was well kept and great. Now, things are slow and you have to beg just to get a waitress to get you a drink. We waited 30 min before a waitress asked us what we wanted. The food was sub-par as well. I was familiar with the usual deliciousness of their massive amounts of Italian food. However, my chicken calzone was quite flavorless and was not the usual "plate size" that their calzones were originally. I really wish that they had their old managers, they were much better and kept the real Italian feel in the place.
Probably the thing I am most annoyed with is that you can order Thai, Japanese, and Chinese at an Italian restaurant. It doesn't make sense to order Pad Thai-Sushi-Curry-Meatballs with bread sticks.
I felt embarrassed to take my mother there for dinner. I had been complimenting and telling her that the restaurant was amazing. I doubt I will be going back anyway soon.
We frequently do take out for lunch there since our office is closeby. The portions are great, we usually share or save for lunch the next day. We love the salads and breadsticks. The Chicken Alfredo is also one of our favorites too.
Great affordable italian: I'm amused that there are some complaints about the sauce. I love their sauce. The base is obviously from Don Pepino sauce which they modify. Don Pepino was the first canned pizza sauce in the US and was created and marketed by an Italian family.
