User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI am the Mom that had the four kids with me when the man (critique below) came in for the tattoo. My daughter was the one getting the piercing at age 15. I allowed her siblings to watch.
I have taken my girls to Hardline many times. (ears and belly button piercing). I allow my children certain piercings as a reward for good behavior. Hardline has very strict guidelines around teens and piercings. Their sterilization techniques are well above excellent! (I am currently in the nursing field) I wouldn't think of taking my teenagers anywhere else for fear of uncleanliness. Matt is very informative and explains cleaning techniques, piercing management, etc.. to my teenagers. He is always very helpful and always recommends that they come and see him anytime the piercings need changing, etc.....he is ALWAYS there to help them.
When this particular man came in (critique below) he held up a picture with scribble on it. Matt simply asked him (you have to know Matt, very blunt, but EXCELLENT at what he does, VERY professional work!) what the heck it was!!!! Funny, he said exactly what I was thinking. This man abruptly grabbed his peice of paper with scribble on it, said some rude comments (obviously embarrassed about the scribble) and left before Matt could finish his sentence.
I am a Mom of 5 (four of which are teens). I HIGHLY recommend Hardline to any parent that is thinking about letting their teen get a piercing. If you want professional work, with high standards of sterilization techniques, do not hesitate, go to Hardline!! I wouldn't take them anywhere else! I, myself, am thinking about getting my first tattoo.....Hardline is the only place I would trust!!-

If you are looking for that Willie Coyote or the Tazmanian Devil and unprofessional artists then this is the place for you. If you are looking for some place that can do custom work then find some where else. After being insulted by one of the artist about tats I already have I was insulted about the work I wanted done which was a custom job. After the second insult I walked out. As it was the work that I did see was at best colored prison tats (except for the scruany white kid with the really bad Chinese letters on his back) and run of the mill art.
Let us not forget the four kids watching a fifth kid (youngest was about 14) getting body piercings.
Don't waste your money, don't even waste your time. -

I love Hardline Tattoo. I've gotten all 4 of my tattoos there, and soon my 5th. I've refered people there left and right.
And they are family friendly and love kids... unlike some other places that get irritated when kids run around... well luckily Matt and the others at Hardline don't care... lol.
It's the number one place to go... definitly.
They are professional and layed back. Funny and amazing.
And they are amazing artists!!

First of all, Im in the shop all the time. Obviously you need to get you head out of your ass to realize that when an artist asks you what your design is, it's not an insult. If you want your tattoo to be the best, your artist needs to know what it is and what it stands for. As for the "kids" getting pierced, get you story straight before you run your mouth. It was a girl and her family (including her mom). NO kids get pierced without a parent. Just ask around. As for the work that comes out of Hardline, appearantly you didn't look through the portfolios or ask around first, as everyone should do before the get any work done. Moral of this story, don't talk trash about things you don't understand or know the whole story about.
Clearly, that guys head is up his ass. Maybe he is upset because his other tattoos were ugly? I've only gotten one tattoo at Hardline, and I think it was by the owner. It was my first one and I was really nervous. He was VERY patient with me (surprisingly). It was on my foot, and i moved A LOT. I was surprised it wasn't fucked up. It turned out great, his wife helped me design it. And when i came back for a touch up they had no problem doing it! I would def. reccomend this place! ONLY issue i have is it's not open on Sundays and that's my only day off! But hey, everyone needs a day off right? keep up the good work.
