| About: | A restaurant and nightclub decorated to the nines in Egyptian kitsch with dance music and, on the menu, almost thirty types of martinis, Japanese food, and seventeen flavors of tobacco for hookah consumption sounds like a mess, right? Well, yes, but messes can be fun, and Moomia is definitely fun. It's one of the only places in New York where you might find yourself asking at 2a why on earth you shouldn't be dancing in front of a sarcophagus? And if the sensory overload gets to be too much, just take five over a plate of sushi, the kitchen is open until closing time. |
