If you are willing to pay more for small portions!: When I first found out about ikko, restaurant was opened recently and the meals were so out of this world. Sushi was incrediable, each piece was generously build, I drove more than 30 miles just to eat there. I live in the area now however, I refuse to go there for three reasons:
1- Sushi portions have gotten so small, you can get a bigger piece at a supermarket
2- Expensive for such small pieces that you leave there hungry, if you can taste the fish, you are lucky
3- Service is so annoying . I feel like they are standing right on top of me. I feel rushed all the time. And I certainly do not like people staring at me while I am eating specially if they are the staff. They need to give people some room to breath.
I hope they improve these issues ASAP so we stop driving to wall - sumo Sushi restaurant every week.

I feel like Ikko's sushi price is pretty fair and sushi portion is bigger comparing to other Japanese restaurant at the same price level. Moreover, Ikko's Sushi is very creative and tastful, which is not easliy to be found in other Japanese restaurants. I ever got tired of Sushi. However, since I had Sushi in Ikko, I like to eat Sushi again becasue I can always found some new, fresh and amazing suprises there. As for the service, I feel like their shefs are very professional and waitress & waiters are nice, sweet and helpful. In a word, I love Ikko. I will go there very often.
I think the portions are great. Plus the quality is so much better than that of a restaurant and it's fresher! Small portions! I have no idea what you are talking about! I feel so full and never finish my portions! I also love the service there. They are nice and warm and friendly. If you want to feel like someone's sitting on top of you go to East Buffet which replaced Jumbo Buffet. It's expensive for buffet and the food is no where as good as Ikko!
What a shame you feel portions are to small. If you feel you need more go to the buffet its all you can eat and you wont eave hungry. Myself I will keep going to IKKO LOVE IT
