User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI regularly use both music stores in Slidell, and most of the time get good service from both. Although I'm sorry for the circumstances (relocation of the store from down south due to Katrina), I'm glad to have SMC in the area. Their prices are fair, and usually they are quite helpful. AND, they are open until 7pm!

The owner of this store tells you what you want to hear in order to purchase an instrument then does not stand behind his word. Our instrument broke 2 days later and was told SOL, no returns. I'll keep my business at Christies.

Poor Service: This music store is not the friendliest. They can be rude. My visit to purchase a guitar for my son was bad. They also need a descent repair department. I've heard similar comments from others who've tried to shop there. Sorry guys you just don't cut it! There is another music store on Robert Blvd. My experience with them was excellent in sales and service Try Christy Music!

I beg to differ. I've been in that store many times and loved the experience. It is very clean and organized and the sevice to say the least is outstanding. On the other hand Christy Music has poor gear and next to no knowledge of the little gear they have. So, if you need any music equipment i'd go to Slidell music for the best price and the best service.

This is a wonderful store very helpful fair prices and the fact i can go in til 7 is great.
