Obviously their customer service/technicians really suck. I was scheduled from 3p-5p, but when the day arrived by 5p no calls were placed to me. I called and the chic on the phone said he would be 30 min late. About 10 minutes later I receive another call from his supervisor saying he would be 2 hours late. I cancelled the freaking appt since I had already waited a week and took care of the situation on my own. You know what they say, if you want something done right the first time, do it yourself. Then when I asked to be comped something (and dang right I deserved it) the guy acted like I shouldn t get anything, but after some convincing, I got what I wanted. LOUSY SERVICE. I should have stayed with DirectTV.
I requested installation online for either 8/11/11 or 8/18/11. I received a email saying they would be here between 8-10 am on 8/11. I changed my work schedule to be here for them. At 11:45 they still weren't here. I called them up and after being transferred around I get a customer service rep who tells me sorry and at least 3 times states that this happens all the time especially when service is requested online. She also states that in reality they have scheduled it for 8/24/11. The funny part is they have already deducted payment from my bank acct and they tell me that is normal. The girl at billing says they will call me back because she's going to let a supervisor know to try to make this right. She never does. Now the best part, I get an email congratulating me on 8/15 and welcoming me to the twc family because of my successful installation. The morons still haven't installed it. They're chat online customer service is a joke. They don't even know what is going on. This is why I got rid of TWC a few years ago and why I will never go back. They suck.
Time Warner Technicians called before they arrived service was excellent. They made sure all equpment was installed correctely and walked into all the rooms to make sure I was satisfied with the installation. I had to return two boxes that were malfunctioning and really loud DVR's. but I returned to the Round Rock location on Mays and they provided excellent service and helped me replace the equipment with no problems. Over all I would rate them a 4 star.I would recommend them.
