   Like another reviewer said, some of these reviewers must be owners, friends, employees, or family members. This place is horrible, I finally found my lasagna packed under some watered down marinara sauce... the bread tasted cheap and the atmosphere was empty and dead. I don't think the rest of Denison really likes this restaurant like these reviewers claim... There's a much better place called Roma's in Durant and the prices are actually a little cheaper there.

   I have seen 9 reviews on this place extolling it's virtues. All nine of these people must be family members and owners. This was by far the worst Italian food I've ever had. The salad was served with so much water on the lettuce, there was no less than an inch of water/dressing in the bottom of the bowl. I ordered the lasagna. I thought that this was a pretty basic dish and the waitress assured me that it was homemade. I received a a one layer concoction of lasagna and so much sauce, well- if you like lasagna soup you'll be happy. What a HUGE disappointment this was. The only thing that rang true in all the posted reviews is the price, it is very inexpensive, most en trees are under $10. To which I say- you get what you pay for.

   Devolli's Italian Restaurant is the diamond in the rough. Small town Texas never had it so good!! The waitresses are pleasant and are very helpful when you need advice on an entree, the food is well priced and prepared quickly, the atmosphere is unmatched. I fell in love at first site with Frank and his team and I go back as often as I can. I rate them a SOLID 5 stars and they've earned each one!!
