Be very wary. I just wrote up a review on citysearch about my experience this morning and all of the review on that site are negative as well. Since these guys don't take appointments, I was the first in line before 7am this morning and was turned away because I had already taken my car to autozone to diagnose the cause of the check engine light. I was told that they make money by charging for a full diagnostic service and that they wouldn't help me. John wouldn't even tell me how much it would cost for the service. This guy is very shady and is looking to take advantage of people who don't even see it coming.
these guys are horrible
they know very little about tires
told me my tire was bad
I took my tire downtown and got the flat fixed right up
these guys charged me 21 bucks for not being able to fix my flat and tried to trick me to pay 109 bucks for a new tire
liars and thieves
The guys at Cybert are great. Very Professional. If you are a jerk dont go there, they dont have time. Too busy fixing my car and several friends. See John if you have any questions, he is the owner.

Hi, My Name is John and i am the owner of Cybert tire. My family has been in business since 1916. I take great offense to the above review. The reviewer was indeed at our shop at 7am. 1st on line. The reviewer wanted a New york state vehicle inspecion and wanted us to install his own part.(oxygen sensor) I told him that we do not install customer provided parts. It is true that i told him we stay in business diagnosing car problems and selling auto parts to customers. If the reviewer went to Auto Zone, Why Didnt they help him?? We must charge Money to stay in business. As he walked to his Car He gave me the finger. All this was witnessed By a Customer Who happens to be a Nun. To be called shady is really unnecessary and very unprofessional. If anyone has any questions about auto repair on their car or services we offer, please feel free to call me at 212-265-1177. Thanks, John Everett
John left out the part about being asked if he could do the repair and providing his own parts. There was never an insistence that he use the part that I had bought. I was simply trying to explain what was the matter with the vehicle. The fact is that every other review posted about this business is negative and they didn't want to deal with someone who knows a little bit about cars because I wasn't an easy mark. John also left out the details about him raising his voice and following me out to my car, where I made the gesture. Talk about unprofessional, John is the businessman that should aim to stay calm and provide good customer service. As for the gesture, I offer no apologies as it is a fundamental right to express myself. Happy hunting to you John.
