User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI have eaten at the River numerous times...friendly atmosphere, great waiting staff, good cooks and the owner comes out and talks with every table making sure the service and food is ok..good wine selection and a nice little , well stocked bar, in the rear...prices are reasonable, even in oroville......great place to eat...

This restaurant has been out of business about three months now--and a good thing too. I tried to eat there twice--and was actually refused service both times. Once they told me the restaurant was just too busy for them to serve me(about half the tables were occupied). The second time they just told me they weren't open yet(this was a half hour after their posted opening time).
