   Best in Durant: Roma's has go to be one of the best restaurants in Durant. Great food and great service for a great price. Roma keeps me from driving to the bigger cities for good italian. A+

   Wonderful food, invornment, and staff. My favorite food is the chicken alfredo and the sausage appitizer. The rolls are very good also. I really enjoy eating their. The remodel has made the place look great too.

   Roma's food is delicious, the price is comparable to other Italian restaurants, the wait staff is friendly.
   
   
   One poster commented, "... LOL, someone wrote 'best Italian food in Durant' . That's not saying much, since it's the only Italian food in Durant."
   
   We say:
   Perhaps Roma's is now the only Italian restaurant currently within the city limits ... I don't know. In any event, it is accurate for my husband and me to say that Roma's is our favorite Italian restaurant within the Texoma area. We DO brag about our local Italian restaurant to our neighbors here, and to our family in the NE and in California. It's not a chain restaurant. We've waited for a great local Italian restaurant like Roma's for a number of years, and we're glad they're here. A gift certificate to Roma's is appreciated by our neighbors too.
   
   My husband and I have been visiting Roma's on a regular basis since they opened their doors a few years back, and we've never been disappointed. The food is always delicious, the staff is consistently friendly. They've expanded their restaurant space (renovation last year) as well as their menu. Roma's now offers daily specials (not on the menu) such as stuffed mushrooms in tomato sauce (my husband's fav), stuffed tilapia, etc. Their Specials menu is posted on a creative easel at the door. And all this from a NON chain restaurant. Good deal, I say!
   
   Truly generous portions. Unless we are ordering sandwiches, we always take half of our meal home. We have gotten to the point where we either ask for NO bread, or ask our waiter to bring just two rolls with our salad or meal; otherwise, we find ourselves uncomfortably full by the end of the meal (the rolls are yummy). We absolutely LOVE their desserts too and finally figured out that we can take a dessert "to go" so we can enjoy it at home when we are less full. Our fav desserts are tiramisu and one that is not on the menu... cappuccino chocolate pie (or something like that!).
   
   The Philly cheese steak sandwich tastes authentic (that's one of my husband's pet peeves and Roma's gets it right). We recently found out about an alternative way to have it, so we also like to order it "Mike's Way" which adds mushrooms and red peppers to the already great Philly cheese steak sandw.
   
   Some of our other favs: Roma's Special (chicken, sausage, ham, etc), Eggplant Parmigana (we special order it with pasta underneath), Lobster Ravioli, Spinach Ravioli, Chicken Picatta (lemon), Sausage Pepper Parmigiana, chicken carchovi (with artichoke hearts).
   
   Eat great food. Go Roma's!!!
