    Unless you want to feed the speedtrap crooks with a badge in Holly Hill and Eutawville ,STAY AWAY ! Stay on I95 and find a Sonny's or someplace else.It's just not worth feeding the "dollar deputies".The BBQ was merely OK,not worth a special trip.Not much in the way of smokey flavor.Don't put that 1313 Gemini drive address in your GPS-it'll be wrong.If you get a $250 ticket from these goons,I TOLD YOU SO !

    Sweatmans is by far the best bbq I've ever tasted. Nothing else is even close. I'm stuck in Florida, with not much more than Sonny's. Every time I visit my family in Calhoun County, we make the 45 minute drive to Holly Hill to dine at Sweatmans. You wont find a better atmosphere for bbq anywhere on the planet. The menu is awesome. I love the bbq, fried pork skins, and adore the hash. Do yourself a tremendous favor and get to Sweatmans ASAP!

    Some Great Eats: Wow!! A quaint southern setting and great service. Oh, and did I mention the food??!! Yeah, my friends and I rolled through and consumed about as much hash, bbq ribs, banana pudding and sweet tea as we could, and not a one of us could remember having a better meal in quite some time. Thanks again, and next trip to Santee-Cooper will find us all hunkered down on a full plate of barbecue blessings.
