   good food and a busy place: hmm...ive never been treated badly at toro so i dont understand where other people have had bad experiences. i think toro has been typical of most newer eateries being super busy during the first few months. of course there is never an excuse for rudeness though.
   
   portions are small but thats what tapas are! and no, its not completely inexpensive but there are other places in the neighborhood that i could def not afford for a casual dinner.....

   I agree with Heather L: Food is decent but doesn't make up for the unfriendly atmosphere.

   I don't understand these other reviews...: I have been there a few times, and my suggestion is to get there early as they don't take reservations. The prices are very reasonable for what you get, we have never had a bad servie experience in multiple visits, and the food is fantastic! Not sure why others have had such a negative experience, we love Toro!
