They went out of business....probably time to update the website.
By Far The Best Service I Have Ever Experienced!!!: 99% due to the I believe General Manager Sundiata. The most gracious, accommodating, debonair, & genuinely kind hearted host I have ever had the pleasure to dine in the presence of. I would go back strictly for him again. They have a price fix menu so you pick the starter, entree, and dessert right from the start. There isn't much on the menu and none of their entrees are vegetarian. They knew I was such a head of time and were more than willing to accommodate. If you are then be prepared to supply them with a small list of foods you'd like ingredients wise or if the list of what you don't like is smaller.... I am pretty open, but do like something creative or else paying these prices just isn't worth it. For the starter and dessert (of course) I was able to order off menu. Ordered the Asparagus salad which was room temp asparagus spears w/ shaved parmagiano regiano and a light dressing. Very good, fresh and simple. For my entree Sundiata recommended a potato thingy (had a fancy name) and I just put it in his hands to have something unique created with it. I ordered the mocha chocolate torte for the dessert. They actually only have to dessert options oddly and the other was a lemon thing w/ filo. Sounded rather bland. Ordered the Tea V mixed drink which was good. Came in a martini glass and was just enough to lightly buzz me. The ambiance was yuppy chic, but comfy unlike most yuppy places. Elegant and simple. Very artsy, but not stuffy. They work very hard to keep everything fresh looking. They have these totally flat white plates that they keep 2 small potato bread rolls on at all times. Once you have eaten even a portion of one the wait person is there to provide another. They realize you are running low on a beverage before you even do! They are just super on top of everything. My entree was good. Not amazing, but good. Was small, but thankfully with the Asparagus salad and the dessert I was stuffed! What it was...was basically mashed potatoes (kind of) w/ a hard crispy outer layer. It's a blanched potato round. Then they added bok choy and baby fancy carrots and a sauce I could not pin point. Wouldn't want it again cuz it's was just kinda plain for my tastes. The torte was amazingly rich! Wasn't like any torte I have ever had/seen. Was about the size of the length of your finger and very narrow. The way they served it was like art. On a totally flat white plate w/ carmel sauce in a decorative design on one edge of the plate and in the far corner (almost hanging off the plate) is the torte. Was so rich!!!! But so good. Tasted like a super decadent truffle! Went to use the restrooms before we left and they were super clean and elegant. The most amazing paper towels to dry our hands with ever! Was thick like cheese cloth and just really high quality! I have dined at many high end restaurants, but this took the cake in service. Will definitely go again.
Napa has been waiting for this: This is what Napa has been needing for a long time. great decor, relaxing hip music, as well as awesome drinks and service. General Manager, Rick Maupin took care of my party and ensured we had a great time. dont miss the little burgers on the bar/lounge menu.
