Baxter's is what more restaurants in Salt Lake need to be. wither they are fancy or really boring and average. this place is so comfy, think about what you want your living room to look like all the way to the comfy lounge chairs around the bar tables. there is the coolest copper ceiling hung in these cool arcs and a photo of a tiny little guy diving into a martini. Baxter's doesn't take itself too seriously except when food is concerned. the menu has everything from personal pizzas that come out sizzling on an iron skillet to filet mignon for $22! Their ceviche is amazingly fresh and beautiful and the tower of tomato, pesto and mozzarella makes me drool. the staff is great and friendly. this place should be totally snooty but they are so down to earth. you can have a birthday party there or a business meeting. Baxter's is great.
