About:Boulevard Bistro is a quaint upscale fine dining restaurant located in a 1908 bungalow style home. Best known for our Regional American Cuisine and direct focus on Californias Foothill Wines with a list of over 50 selections. We embrace locally grown produce; fresh vegetables grown in the central valley, locally raised meat, and seafood from the cold waters of the coast of Northern California. Bret Bohlmann, chef and owner, is a 1998 graduate of the California Culinary Academy. After several years of experience in the Bay area Bret has returned home to Elk Grove to open one of Elk Grove's finest restaurants.

    Just had yet another wonderful dining experience tonight at the Boulevard Bistro. The Bohlmanns do it right, this is a regular for us and we love it every time. The food is as good as you can get in the Sacramento area and prices are more than reasonable. The ambiance is warm and friendly, and romantic if you are there with someone special.

    Thanks Deborah and Bret, you guys rock.

    Went to this restaurant and the restaurant is very clean, with great ambience inside this small home. The food was good, but our only question is why isn't there any salt and pepper on the table? The food was just lacking in salt to bring out the flavors of all the foods...and then it would have been fantastic. The Chef may have thought it was perfect as it was...but everything just needed more flavor.

    My wife and I have gone here on three different occasions and had an excellent dinner. We have brought our own wine and have not been disappointed in the food choices that paired nicely with it. I normally have the Filet and my wife has the special or fish. Either way this place is a great or friendly place to dine!!
    Dont pass this one up in the heart of old Elk Grove.
