Vindalho is the name of a popular dish from Goa, a coastal city in India. The warm interiors feature mango and green colored walls, a high ceiling, a mezzanine level, blue light fixtures, wooden chairs and pretty, bamboo-top tables. A bar accompanies the dining section and serves fruity cocktails, beer, wine and tea too. The enticing aroma, filling up the space, will tempt your taste buds. Chef David Machado cooks up an assortment of delights. Crunchy pappadams with sweet and tangy chutneys are on the house! Indulge in them while you wait for your order. Try the pyramid shaped Samosa, tandoor dishes and warm Nanthe Indian bread. An outdoor courtyard serves as the perfect venue on a sunny summer to begin your gastronomic tour of India.
Food was ok, but the waiter "Tim" was so RUDE! I felt like he wanted us to get the food ourselves. If we had a question about the the menu he would sigh like it was so much trouble. We were trying to make him happy by the end of the night. He ruined our evening.
The atmosphere is very elegant, the service is hit & miss. We've been there a few times since they have opened and I don't understand why they don't serve condiments (chutney, cilantro sauce etc) We have to ask our server if the kitchen could make something up for us and they always seem offended. Other than that it's an o.k. place to eat Indian food.
