Im not one that likes this type of food often, but I will say I had a great experience here. The hostess got us seats for 5 within 10 mins of arriving on a Sunday right after church. The place was packed but they where moving people in and out.

The waiter was awesome, he cracked some jokes, and made us really feel at home. His service was excellent as he always had our cups full before we could even ask, he made sure our food was right and even made some great suggestions when we was unsure of what we wanted.

The food was honestly awesome. Like I said me and my wife both dont normally like american style restaurants like this, but this was the best we have ever been to. You have to try their ribs, and their pulled pork was some of the best Ive ever had.

My family and I ate at Smokey Bones in Newport News VA for the first time this past weekend. It was a Saturday approximately 6:30 and of course had a wait. I was pleasently surprised that the wait was less time than the hostess stated. The food was good and the service was exceptional. The food was prompt and the waiter returned often to see if we needed anything. I am defintely looking forward to returning again.

I just tried smokey bones today and it was delicious, the food is great and i would recommend it to anyone looking for great bbq. the service was good and fast and the price is great for the amount of food you get.nmj
