User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWent to Omni Shoreham Hotel and found Open City diagonal to the hotel. What fabulous food! You must try the french fries. The coffee comes with animal crackers and the coconut cake has just a hint of lemon. The tables were close to each other and people with computers came to veg. I wanted to stay in DC longer just to go to my 'third place'. We ate at Open City for breakfast and dinner and got to know the servers a little. Great bunch, really laidback and friendly. I would go back to DC just to visit Open City one more time.

had a great brunch. the strawberry milkshake was really really good. the open city omelet was pretty good too. it was really popular so i would suggest going there early at around 11am to avoid the long line.
