I've eaten here twice. The first time was good, the second time was not as good. In the end, I've decided that the price of so many of these presumably fancy restaurants is too high compared to the quality of the food and service.
The first time we had a waiter from Bordeaux. He was charming a gave good service, also the food was better that time. The second visit we had an American, perhaps a Portlander, although he didn't seem that bad, and the food wasn't as good as the first time.
I don't even know where to start. The table they sat my husband and I at was rattled every time the waiters ran by. The menu sounds wonderful but execution was poor to say the least. My husband was served old oysters and scallops. The first of which made him sick. Our waiter was very eager and nice but not very knowledgeable. The restaurant was beautiful and packed. I still can't understand why.
Eaten there several times mostly dinner but lunch also. Has met my expectations every time. Mostly enjoyed the beef selections, and everyone I've taken was impressed.
