What happend!
Great food, a fun place, live music, something always going on, We just visited again on one of our tours, everything is closed, what a shame and a loss to great BBQ.
Wherever your at, Hats off to the owner, A Great place, A happy staff and the manager, Tim, You all put Buffalo on the map.
A real loss to real BBQ
I travel to Cambridge on business fairly often and have visited both Dancing Donky locations. Both were clean, friendly, and tasty. If you like home cooking, a casual atmosphere, and want to try something different- this is your place.
My fiance and I stopped at the Dancing Donkey because we love to travel to the southern US and love the BBQ there and we were thrilled with the Dancing Donkeys promise of "real BBQ". We were soon disappointed. The place was clean and has a nice decor and atmosphere but the food was only average at best. It wasn't even close to the "real" BBQ of the South. How to order is a bit confusing but what is worse is that the younger people (teens) working there are too busy talking amongst themselves or with some of their friends that have stopped by that it makes you feel unwelcome, like you've just intruded on their precious time. Maybe we were just there on a bad day. but neither one of us can figure out how the Buffalo location has stayed in business let alone do well enough to open another Dancing Donkey in Center on the way to Salt Fork.
