Well Above Average: Excellent food and casual atmosphere. A great for a business lunch or you can take the kids for dinner.

Best around: Every time I go, It's perfect! With a name like "American Man" no wonder that last reviewer was so ignorant. This restaurant is by FAR the most authentic with actual flavor asian in knoxville. They have the only tofu I have ever enjoyed (I eat meat) and I have heard this from several others as well.E verything is of the highest quality and good portions for the price. If you have a kid, this is the best food they could possibly get on a kids menu!! Please, go try it--like all great things, help make it flourish.

I would like to burn down the resturant!: This was the worst Asian food I have ever had!!! I ordered the kung pow shrimp to go and found the portion very small, the food was cold (I only live 2 minutes away), it was a mass of oil and mush, the shrimp was very few and not prepared correctly (mushy coating instead of breaded and fried), and not a hint of spice as anyone should kbnow, Kung Pow is a HOT spicey dish. This food was NOT Kung Pow and I guess I can only name it as pure cat crap. I should have taken it back but after I write this review, I am finding the web site and writing them a nasty e-mail. Maybe eat in is better but if they think they can pawn off bad food to someone who is getting it to go, then I will NOT ever go back there again.
Just goes to show you, if the Asian resturant does not have a single asian person working in the kitchen, beware of what you might get.
There are authentic asian resturants right up the street. That is where I will go next time and I suggest you do it your first time.
