We Love Dr. Reese!: I have had about four pediatricians over the years since my oldest was born. We loved Dr. Gilbert and were very sad when he moved away about five or so years ago. I had given up hope of finding another good pediatrician after going through about two more that I was not satisfied with. When I heard that Dr. Reese was opening her own practice within walking distance of my home, I decided to try to get my children in with her for the convenience alone of the close proximity of the office to my house since I didn't have a vehicle at the time and had to walk my kids to the doctor. Putting my girls with Dr. Reese was the best decision I could have ever made concerning a doctor. Dr. Reese is very gentle and very kind to my girls. The first time she had to put my youngest daughter(8 months old at the time) in the hospital, she knew how scared I was. She threw her arms around both of us right there in her office and prayed for the health of my daughter. Next, she called the hospital and spoke with a childrens ward nurse and asked them to take good care of us since this was my first time with a sick child in the hospital. That meant the world to me and sealed my decision right there to keep my children with her. My girls are in her office almost every week and Dr. Reese and her staff are never anything but kind, gentle, and considerate to my children and myself. They go out of their way to make sure that the girls are happy and comfortable. I couldn't count how many parents I have recommended to take their children to Dr. Reese. As long as we are living anywhere within driving distance of Toccoa, my children will continue seeing Dr. Reese and if we eventually move away, I will trust her opinion of a new pediatrician for my girls to go to. Thank you Dr. Reese and staff for the kindness you have shown to my children and myself over the last year and a half. You have made all these sick times much easier to deal with and we so much appreciate it. So if whoever reads this is new to Toccoa or the surrounding area or just looking for a new doctor, give Dr. Reese a chance. I promise you that you'll never want to leave her. ;)
