    My wife and I have been going to this establishment since 1988 when it was Annie's and the present owners worked on staff for their parents. Both as Annie's and John Henry's this is a really nice place to go particularly if you have children. The owners Jim and Kathy have always been incredible nice host's. I've never been there when one or both have not been there.

    The food is good the service is very attentive and the prices are modest. You'll get no complaints from me.

    John Henry's is a great spot - we go with our kids (baby and 2 yr old) and the staff is always super helpful with kid stuff. Some places see you come in with kids and they look at you like "oh no". The food is standard pub food, but very good and they have some good comfort food on the menu. I go there to watch the Phils and Eagles too as they have several big HD plasma's. Don't know what that one reviewer is talking about... the owner and his wife are there every time I've been there.

    Best place in Ardmore to watch the game. Excellent food for a pub as well. Agree w/the chicken pot pie recommendation...too bad it is a seasonal menu item.
