The place was horrid, why is there a police officer and squad car stationed outside the store, when the crimes take place inside? Kimchi was first introduced to me in M*A*S*H*; then Korean -in-laws. It's a culture shock, a culture difference, kimchi is buried in the ground for safe keeping, darned good stuff/ and also extremely fond of red bean paste. Sanitary rules vary from country to country, we frown on things, that they've been doing for centuries. Dog was taken off the menus for the 2008 Beijing games; for fear of "offending tourists" Yes, dog. Chong Suk was embarrassed, she's say, "we no eat dog!" that is not-a-true! Koreans no-eat-a-dog!" Love my sister in law. Haiti serves up dog too, right in the middle of the street on a stone/rock heated to cooking temperature! Culture Shock? SARAGA is probably wonderful if YOU know what you're looking for, and importantly WHAT TO STAY AWAY FROM! Asian herbal medicines are where it's at. It was dirty, full of "special looking characters" that waited an opportunity to bump and snatch your wallet
