I stopped at this charming little cafe on my way home from the Rogue River in Oregon. We had a really good breakfast, with homemade biscuits, Yum. I highly recommend stopping at this cafe if your passing the Old Station/Hat Creek area. They even have showers at the next building, so if your in need of a cleaning after camping out for a few days you have some options.
I just saw the entire property for SALE on the local realtors site. The owners are looking to retire. So, you better get your biscuits and gavy before it's gone!!!
if your within 100 miles of this place you must find time to eat here. the best cookies and bakery items anywhere. this last stop had the smoked corn beef and vegie soup that was so good words cant express it.also had the chautebriand sandwich with fresh horseradish on a homemade bun that cleared up any sinus problems i had that day.i bought all the cookies they had left before i ate my meal to make sure knowone else bough them before i could.wish i lived near this restaurant to insure it stays open.
The best kept secret: Ever since this place opened it has been a favorite of ours. Whether on the way to fishing or on a drive we plan to stop here. The food is freshly prepared daily. The biscuits and gravy are to die for and for lunch the wedge cut fries that come with the burger on the freshly baked bun are yummy. Stop and eat when in the area and you won't leave hungry. Made it up there after a couple of years and John and Judy are still going strong after all these years, Lots of home cooked food, wonderful baked good and lots of good conversation. Stop by and you won't be disappointed.
