User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe staff and Teppan Chef are laughable at best. The cross-eyed Teppan Chef we had knocked over a beer glass all over a fellow patron and cut him with the glass and doesn't even take the beer off the tab or offer a free replacement. Management is oh-so rude and offered only a $5 coupon for a lunch as a compensation when asked about why we still were charged for the beer the cook spilled and broke. Food was sub par and we rather eat at Akina in Mission Grove where there are real Teppan chefs. Bad mistake on our parts we will eat elsewhere before we go and see a movie at Riverside Plaza.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsFirst off let me say that I love the food! It's very tasty and good portions. I always sit in the grill section. The last couple of times I've gone the service has been horrible. First the waitress didn't turn on the grill so when the cook came out we had to wait all over again for it to warm up. The second time they gave us the wrong menu. Didn't bring the stuff we had asked for and COMPLETELY screwed up the check. Note: Always look carefully at the bill as the overcharged us by about 10%. I really like the food but I wouldn't go there as my first choice because of the service issues. There are other great hibachi restaurants that I would choose first because I haven't been disappointed by them.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOoka is great! They have great sushi, fresh and awsome tasting. Ask your waiter/waitress about rolls that are not on the menu, like one night stand. The parking is a bit tough to find but once your in there who cares. Just be prepared to drop 100 bucks, but well worth it!!! We go every other week!!!
