    Mirrors is the Spot!: For the local Washingtonian who appreciates the go-go scene Mirrors is arguably the most comfortable club. You never know what you are getting into when you patronize that genre of music which is DC centered. Mirrors with its dim lighting, reasonable (for DC) bar prices, lush comfortable couches help you escape the "go-go belongs in the hole-in-the wall establishments" mentality. I see the What Band there every Friday (if you haven't seen the What Band you are missing something special). I hear that Familiar Faces are worth seeing also. Will be sure to check them out soon. Remember... WHAT BAND - SUNDAY, Familiar Faces - Friday at Mirrors.... DONT MISS OUT!

    A Club Mature beyond its years!: When I first heard of Mirrors, I was like" I have a few in my house". But as a soon learned, after getting over my embarrassment, was a venue with class, soul, and even more intriuging, mature crowd minus the age limitation.

    First of they sponosr a weekly open mike audition, something like a local amercan idol with a cash prise and record deal.

    Then there is the most important aspect: It's a live music venue..Meaning there are local talent there nigthly when open as well as nationally known artits that slide through town and do their thang. when I first went there, I saw Dwele, then saw Raheen Devaughn, Also Chante Moore. So Neo Soul is extremely prevelant. As for the drinks,the bartehnders are helpful and the prices are decent, typical in the DC club scene. It's an exscape from the Beyonce booty shaking and Hip Hop dominatling club scene where you can relax with you friends,special someone, and realy just enjoy the show..
