Absolutely excellent!! My boyfriend and I have gone there twice (so far!). Our waiter the first time would replace our drinks literally right as they were about to run out- wow! And the second time we went, the waiter from the first time recognized us and chatted for a bit. The second time, our waitress was friendly and gave great suggestions about the meni. The wait staff is superb, and very knowledgable of the menu. They were happy to make special changes to my order, and my boyfriend said that it was the best steak he has ever had, which is saying something considering how many steaks he eats!! Te second time we went, we had the seven-layer cake for dessert- it was amazing. Somehow, Stonewood managed to make a cake that was rich and flavorful, but not so rich that you couldn't eat it. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!! The atmosphere is dim and pleasant, making for a very relaxing restaurant.

A wonderful dining experience my entire family enjoyed. Delicious dinner from a deversified, reasonably priced menu (from hamburgers and chicken wings to steaks/seafood and rack of lamb) Our waiter was outstanding in his attentiveness and knowlege of the menu. He recommended an entree not on the menu that was exceptionally good! The atmosphere is upscale and the staff well trained and looked and acted like they should be in an upscale restaurant. It was a very pleasant dining experience all the ways around. My daughter enjoyed a selection from the kids menu (homemade mac.& cheese),but the big hit with her was the "magical" ladies room door that opens all by itself when one simply waves their hand in front of it. I appreciate the fact the restaurant considers cleanliness important and doesn't want their guests to touch doorknobs.My family and I can not wait to return for another enjoyable dining experience. If you go, save room for their dessert speciality,chocolate bread pudding. You will not leave disappointed! The best dessert I ever had!

The food was spectacular but the service was horrible! We were there on a Saturday but it was not overly busy. We waited a good 10 minutes before our waiter showed up to tell us he would be back, no drink order, nothing. We were seated at our reservation time of 8 pm and finally were served at 9:20. Either poor training of the wait staff or we just got someone who was terribly unorganized. That said, the food was fantastic. The chowder is a do again as was the blackened grouper. Lamb special was sold out (which is what we went there for) but the lamb chops were cooked to perfection and well seasoned. All in all we would recommend Stonewood for the food but good luck on getting attentive service. I hope the management sees this and addresses the problem as we would love to go back.
