In July of last year I had my wedding cake made here. It tasted alright (a bit lemony), but it looked awful my cake was supposed to have white iceing and it was a pale yellow, the good news is it did not show in our photos but the guests noticed. It was supposed to have flowing pink roses and ribon around the three tiers of hearts but the flowers were clumped here and their and I had to straighten it out myself on an already busy, stresssful yet wonderful day. I should have found someone else when he refused to use fondant.

I had forgotten what a REAL cake tastes like! I ordered a birthday cake from this wonderful bakery, and after years of eating the pre-packed and processed garbage, this was refreshing!

Highly recommended!

We moved to Luray about 14 years ago. Love the town and love the Main Street Bakery. The owner, Chuck, has the best breads and pastries in town. I don't know what we did before he opened his shop. He also caters special events in the town and the food has been fantastic. If you live here or are just visiting, please stop in.
