User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI honestly do live locally, and I eat at Minicqua Pizza Company usually once a week. I love the taste of the pizza. The gals are very friendly. I've never had a mixed up order. And sadly, Spang's lovely restaurant was lost to a terrible fire in Dec., '07, about 9 months before the previous "local" wrote - which I find discredits altogether that review. I do agree with all the other wonderful reviews.

I wasn't too pleased with them. I live locally but have had pizza in many places. The taste wasn't the greatest and they messed up our pizza, ordered a half and half and paid for it and didn't get the right order. I also tried to print a coupon online and it wouldn't print. The girl wouldn't do anything about the fact except say, "Yeah, I've seen those coupons." No offer to honor the discount anyway or anything. Service was lacking I'd say and taste was so-so. Not sure if I'm even willing to give them a second chance. I'll stick with Spangs!

The best pizza in town,my favorite is their " fire in the hole" pizza. We get takeout at least three times a month, and the quality and consistency in their product is exemplary.

You are aware that "local" in the Northwoods usually encompasses an approximate 20 mile radius and that there is also a Spangs in St. Germain that is still in operation? As for me, I found the MPC pizza to be pretty good but my experience there was not satisfying enough to compel me to return often. I also find reviews raving about a pizza being "the best" ludicrous...pizza is an extremely personal preference, and if made with any degree of skill one person's "best" will be another's "so-so". Using Spangs as an example, sometimes their pizza is excellent, while other times it is wretched(I, also , miss the beautiful Minocqua Spangs location). People should always keep such things in mind when writing reviews(not to discount your review, Happy with MPC, just a few general remarks meant for everyone).
