User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsPoor service: This past May of 2007 Jefferson Energy cut off my power. what I received was the shocking notice that I would have to pay more than $400 bc people were leaving the Richomond County area and not paying their bills. So they operate on this welfare system bc someone else didnt pay their bill. Even worse was their customer service. When I called to have these charges explained and asked how soon my power would be turned back on (I am a diabetic) I was rudely told that I could find something in my house that didn't need to be cooked with electrcity. Terrible customer service.
