Phenomenal. This is my favorite restaurant in the area, and if you are familiar with the seacoast area of New Hampshire, you know there are a lot of great restaurants around here. My wife and I go to Pepperland at least 2-3 times a month. They have an eclectic mix of food, plenty on the menu to please just about everyone. I usually order from the pub menu (personal favorites: the D'Watts--chicken salad sandwich, or the veggie burger--and it's not like any other veggie burger you've tasted!). And the onion rings are absolutely unreal. But they have a lot of great "higher end" entrees also, that are priced very reasonably especially considering the quality of the food. They have an incredible array of imported and domestic beers, and the selection is constantly changing. If you're a beer lover you'll find the staff is quite knowledgeable in this department. I also recommend hitting Pepperland for breakfast on Sunday...try the North Country Waffle, or the legendary Flynn's Toast. I can't say enough about this place...would give them 10 stars if Yahoo would let me!

Wow, I am shocked that this place has any positive reviews. Shocked. The only positives are the female bartender, who was the only friendly staff member and the location. It is situated away from any competition and any chain locations. It should do great.

They over complicate every dish. If you are with a group and you have a person who is a "simple eater" forget it. Set-up to fail. Nothing close to traditional. No pasta, no butter for the bread, no recognizable beers, no straight forward beef or chicken dishes or sides. They appear to take quality ingredients and make them up like Circus Clowns.

I dine all around the country and I live close. It would be fabulous if this place got it right, but they have it soooo wrong. You also won't find a bargin here with their inflated prices and pretentious attitude. I will never go back.

Pepperland offers great food and great service. Everyone I have ever brought there has fully enjoyed it. The foods have a creative slant that delight the palate. I recommend it to anyone but the most devoted McDonalds patrons.

If you want pasta and butter, I would suggest Olive Garden. Pepperland is an A+ in my book.

"Nothing close to traditional...no recognizable beers...no straight forward beef or chicken dishes..." You know, taken out of the context of your poorly written review, these are genuine complements. They buy tons of stuff locally and rarely have a menu entree over $20, so I'm not sure what you're talking about when you refer to "inflated prices." Pepperland is easily one of the top restaurants in the area. It's literally perfect for any occasion. Further, if you have a "simple eater" in your group, I am positive that the kitchen would be happy to grill them a chicken breast and serve it with some fries. Man, just thinking about Pepperland Cafe is making me hungry.

You know what. I think pepperland is the best place to go if your hungrey. if you want bread and butter, then go ask for it at home bub.

I think you have a plebian palate, my friend. I can visualize the way you hold your knife and fork already. You wouldn't know a Mornay from a Veloute, what to do with the service plate, melamine from wedgewood, 7 entrees where the spoon would be acceptable...or...even the haute way to butter one's bread. In short, you are a mere toadie, gravy loving schmuck! Try Applebees instead and, "have a nice day".
