    We were dining regularly at Hot Basil's since it was the best Thai in the area, until they kept raising their prices. Last year the majority of entrees were $14.00, eight months later the same entrées went up $7.00! That’s just crazy and greedy!

    Also it’s BYOB but they will charge a $5.00 corking fee even if you uncork your own or have a twist bottle. That’s another issue that bothers me. Also the wait staff are young girls who are very inexperienced and act confused if you ask them a question on how a dish is prepared.

    Also there’s no atmosphere and the Interior is small and boring.

    This restaurant is truly a hidden gem for the Hartford area. Everything that they offer is great. I go there twice a month for lunch and once a month for dinner. Remember that it's BYOB.

    Yummy: It is a lovely environment and the food is wonderful... will make it a regular dinner out.
