SVHI too have experienced the same. I had Mono-vision last February and from day #1, I told them I was having problems seeing. They told me, give it some time to adjust. I complained again because I could no longer see if it was raining and I now have night blindness. I could only see clearly 8 inches away after the surgery, It's almost one year later and I can only see 12 inches max from my right eye. I also now have a blur zone up to 8 feet where everything is blurry. My vision is now worse than before I had this procedudure done. I would never recommed anyone to have the monovision procedure.01/06/12 -

Immediately after surgery my vision was ve...See MoreI had Lasik eye surgery under the skilled hand of Michael Cornell, MD on Friday, 7/6/07. Immediately after surgery my vision was very blurry (they had to dialate my eyes because of my astigmatism). The next morning, my vision was 20/20 (not confirmed) and it has been ever since. I go in for a follow up eye exam at Lasik Plus in 3 weeks and I am positive that I am at least 20/20. Yesterday, my buddy and I were at an autoshop. There was a mechanic at the end of the bay and my friend couldn't read they guy's name tag. My friend was wearing his prescription glasses. I was easily able to make out Nick's name on his name tag and got his attention for my friend! Now my friend is jealous and wants Lasik surgery too!!! I will post here again after my follow up. I am very pleased with Dr. Cornell and his staff. Nadia and Rachael rock!
