Yes, the owner's wife was not at all like she appeared to be. I worked for her and she told me that she and her husband were Fair people. Come to find out Yvonne was not at all Fair. While working there she always put people on hold, acted like she was so busy when she wasn't and took her sweet time returning their phone calls when they wanted to know about their furniture being delivered.

It took her over a month to pay me for working only part-time. When I was suppose to get my little commission money from her she literally gave me the run around and sent me on a wild goose chase. Come to think of it I had to wait over a month just to get my first commission and another month to get my second commission money from Yvonne. You would have thought I was getting hundreds of dollars in commission, but eventually I got my money from her.

My definition of a Fair person is someone who I do not have to run after and someone who calls the person who worked for them that you can come and pick up your commission money. Instead Yvonne gave me nothing but excuses especially when she knew she would not be in the store. So finally I came in to the store by surprise and she had no choice but to give me my little commission money. Once she did I was done with her and that store.

That is no way to run a business especially when you always have a Help Wanted sign posted outside your store. After a while people start spreading the word that you and your husband run a dishonest business.

Overpriced and ugly, uninspiring furniture.

Service is mediocre at best and downright dishonest and fraudulent at worst, which is often.

The owners, Yvonne and Carl, lack any semblance of business and personal integrity.

The only reason I can fathom that they are still even in business is that they must really milk those few customers they are able to take advantage of (for example the elderly), who fall prey to their shady business practices.

Avoid at all costs.

Yvonne, the owner's wife, was not a pleasure to work with. She was dishonest numberous times about chairs that I ordered back in April 2008. She never gave us an update about our chairs. Not until August 2008 did I receive my chairs even though I paid four months ago. The two times I went into the store, Carl, the owner, could careless about my problem. Extremely aloof. For furniture, this is not the place to go.
