Worst 'sushi' ever! I read some reviews that stated "decent sushi for all you can eat". Terrible sushi (I hesitate to call it that) at any price! All rice, scant fish, which is probably good since the fish is such low quality. The Dynamite isn't, it's krab (CA roll filler) with tiny scallops, mushrooms, and onions HEATED, not baked. Very odd fried sushi rolls, the Kevin roll is reported to be spicy tuna, tempura battered & deep fried. Filling reminded me of deviled ham. Rainbow roll, looked like it, didn't taste like any rainbow roll we've eaten. Salmon skin, hand roll, slivers of salmon skin, not crispy, rolled in what appeared to be tar paper (low quality seaweed paper) that is inedible. Even the wasabi was odd, looked like a rolled ball of green play-doh. Save your money, eat anywhere else. The header says Yama, but it's called Habiki now. If you like white rice, not much of a palate for sushi, you'll enjoy this disaster of a sushi bar. With the many choices for sushi in the Santa Clarita Valley, how this one manages to stay in business is a great mystery. OH, and don't keep too much distance between you and a bathroom after eating here. Expect a tsunami from your bowels in short order.
Now called Hibiki right? anyways....
Terrible service, don't waste your time.... I have given them another chance to get things right and nothing has change, this time we walked in and waited 5 minutes while they walked around before asking if we needed a table (DUH) Then they went off walking around like they were lost, we stood there watching them attend to the very few tables as we stand waiting... after being ignored for another 5-10minutes and the staff behind the counters just staring at us like an act at a show, WE LEFT.
They weren't busy,
They weren't Polite,
They weren't welcoming...
they may have an all you can eat sushi but you can't if your table isn't all ordering it, their prices may be less than most others but they work harder on making you not wanting to go back..
I loved it!!! The food was great the service was quick, the only issue I had was that they ignored me when I wanted to order for the 3rd time, it didnt make me too angry because I wouldnt of finished it. Over all it was great food for a great price
