YUMMY! That is the only way to describe this restaurant. Sam is very kind and has the sweetest son, not to mention the food is awesome. There isn't an atmosphere, but I don't care what the place looks like as long as the food is great. Everything I have tried there has been excellent and the tea is good (like most Asian restaurants). You also get a really good Asian candy after your meal; it tastes like a melon of some sort.
He also serves his sticky rice in cute little containers that kids love.
The ice cream is really good and I LOVE the chai tea!
You are missing out if you don't eat here!!!!!!
Were a little iffy about eating in this little hole in the wall in leesville but WOW. They're really good! I'd never had Thai before but it's so good!. I love that it's family owned and operated and "Grandpa" as my husband and I refer to, cleans tables while Sam-the owner- takes orders and I think must be the wife in back cooking? They have a lot of variety. They're a little expensive between $8-$15 for a single serving, but worth it. Only negative, our mexican friends hated the fried icecream because it was too doughy, but he wolfed his meal down :)
This was the first restaurant we ever ate at when we moved to Fort Polk. We now eat there about once a week. The food is phenomenal. Sam will always suggest different menu items we should try. Very very authentic Thai food.
