We were at BJ's for lunch today, our third time at the restaurant. The service was excellent, as was the food. Their pizookie dessert trio was lots of fun; we tried the triple chocolate one, which uses Ghiradelli chocolate (the square of chocolate draped over it is the only part we didn't like). The most notable part of our lunch was their seasonal beer: pumpkin ale. Our waitress told us that some people put whipped cream on theirs, which we could not understand until we tasted it. We've tried at least a couple of others that were disappointing, but this one was special from the first taste. You can taste the pumpkin as well as the spices. If you like good beer, this is a must try!

True story: myself and 2 friends went here (located in front of Tinseltown) for Valentine's day lunch, my first time eating here. We decided to start with drinks--only to find out the waitress was rude, pushy, and most unhelpful. (on another note, best Mojitos). We ordered our drinks and a large appetizer tray, which included spinach dip. It took forever for the appetizer to arrive. Finally, it came out and as we were about to dig in we noticed there was a HAIR in our spinach dip, not just ANY HAIR but one LONG, DISGUSTING, ROOT INTACT PUBIC HAIR. YES, PUBIC HAIR. My friend tracked down the manager and brought him to our table to show him what was in our food, to which he kept insisting it was not a PUBIC HAIR when it clearly was. He then said that he would immediately bring us out a new appetizer "on the house", but I was NOT going to eat anything else that came out of that kitchen. He then said he would only comp us our drinks and the filthy appetizer and nothing else. So, if you like pubic hair in your food, bitchy waitresses and inept managers, BJ's is the plase for you!! I will NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK THERE.

Pizzas good. but the service isn't!! Its been open for a couple of years now and the service still hasn't gotten better.
