User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOne of the best coney islands in metro Detroit, and I've been to a LOT of them! I don't know what their fries were like before, but now they are the absolute best! Crispy and hot, not too thick, not too thin -- perfect! When my parents come to town we always head to Backyard Coney for breakfast, lunch or both! For under four bucks I can get a huge platter of hash browns (and they mix in the grilled onions just like I ask), two eggs and Texas toast. Their gyro pita is really great.
GO! You will not regret it! Fabulous food, great prices, quick and friendly service. This is definitely a gem known by locals.
