Never been to the place and dont intend to . They are major spammers on Craigslist and few other places . Hope they go out of business and soon . No one needs scum like them around

I love Copper Star Coffee! The staff is great, the coffee and pastries are delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. I have been making Copper Star my cafe of choice for the last two years. Copper Star is a great place to go if you want to support local businesses and I'd rather spend my money there than any big, yucky corporation (*starbucks*) anyday.

Want a place to hang out? This is it.: I'd driven by this place that looked like a gas station, but the sign said coffee. The pump is still out in front and one day the garage mechanics area door was rolled open when the weather was nice - too hot in phoenix during summer for that. Every time I drove by I thought it looked like a cool place and that I should stop in.

One day I did, and my life changed.

The coffee is good, and free re-fills!

The staff is friendly and they smile and seem to enjoy their jobs. The tip container is too small, I think.

The owner is there a lot and he’s friendly also and seems to love to chat with customers.

They have artist’s work on the wall. And live music some nights.

Big comfortable couch to sit on and a big desk and smaller tables scattered around. It’s always easy to strike up a conversation with someone.

Free high-speed Internet WI-FI that makes my laptop happy.

My only complaints would be that they need more outlets for laptops and the chairs could be more comfortable.

But everything else is all good. They have pastries and bagels and I’ve seen salads served at people’s tables.

There’s a convenient Wag-n-Wash across the street, so dogs aren’t completely unwelcome in the neighborhood.
