Every time I go there I get horrible service. I don't think they train the staff very good before they send them out there serving. Also there is always a problem with my bill they somehow manage to throw in an extra chrage for something without telling you. The food is good. The marketing for this particlur Melting Pot is good. If they could just fixed the service I think it might be better. Troy Melting Pot blows this one out of the water. I recomend trying that one.
You pay for the novelty, not the actual food.
The chocolate dessert was fun and delicious, but the rest? Meh. I remember the fun I had as a kid at my parents fondue parties. Quite a hit in the disco 70's but now? What should be something fun and festive has been watered down by a chain restaurant. The service was pretty good, the drinks not half bad but the $70 per person would be better spent elsewhere. 3 stars simply because it's something different to try but for about $25 bucks, go pick up a fondue pot and boil meats and melt cheese to your hearts content.
I agree that this restaurant is way to expensive for what you get. No way is it $20-30 per person. We ended up spending about $65 per person. The meal was fine, but it was not worth the price.
