If you wonder why Potsdam doesn't have any stray cats or dogs, this restaurant is probably why...the food, if you can call it that, is the absolute worse Chinese I've ever had, and this is from somebody who has lived in New York City and Chicago. Around and around I went, endlessly looking for something that was decent, the only thing in the end was the Hershey's Ice Cream. I had their "Mongolian" grill, it's not, it's just noodles cooked on a griddle; true Mongolian uses a large round cook-top with "stick" utensils; the food ends up being light and tasty, not heavy. I'd pass on this place unless you are constipated and need a good cleaning out as my family found out.

I recently moved into town. I was happy to see what looked like a beautiful Chinese restaurant. Although situated as a buffet, take out was available. I ordered pepper steak, a very basic and 'safe dish' for a new Chinese place.

IT WAS AWEFUL

the worst peppersteak I ever had in my life in any city in North America. The beef smelled funny and tasted rancid. I am not sure if it even was beef. I have rarely had any ethnic food turn my stomach the way this did. Disgusting, I ended up throwing out almost all of it.

Terrible terrible food.....
