I ate here the other night with two others, and we got EXCELLENT service from a young lady named Kristina. The tuna dip is the best, as well as the fork lift and gumbo. We will definately return!
I wish I could rate a half star. My party, a group of 4 had probably one of the worst dining experiences of the year here. Let me start with the fact that the servers were unattentive at best. I live in the pensacola area, and with all the great seafood dining options, it is really unfortunate when a restaurant is lacking. The food was overpriced, and lackluster. I had the smoked tuna dip appetizer ($9) and the "dirty" fish burrito ($14). The tuna tasted like starkist tuna salad and came with a dissapointing 6 sourdough chips to put it on. The burrito was filling, but plain. It had no real seafood taste, having been made of shredded seafood, which was unidentifiable, and was overpowered by rice and black eyed peas. Due to the unattentiveness of the staff we were unable to order drinks from the bar. In conclusion I would much rather hit Old Bay Steamer in Destin, or hit up Landrey's in Pensacola. Oh, and the breeze off the Bay had an offensive odor. Avoid this stinker!
This is really my style restaurant! The atmosphere is relaxing, I didn't feel rushed, the food was great, and the view was beautiful. I loved, unlike another reviewer- that there weren't tons of lights. I thought there were plenty. It would take away from the ambiance if there had been any more. We will be back!
