This place grosses me out; the majority of their fresh foods are rotting and have mold growing on them, everything from the fresh fruits and vegetables to the salsa to the food you order at their counter, everything. In the four or so times that I have shopped their over the past year and a half there has not been a single time that I did not observe this. Even the food I feel like looks good in the store, I come home and open and find yep, its moldy too. You re not safe going the pre-packaged route either. I bought salsa there and came home to find that it was five months passed its expiration date. I keep going back to this place to see if things have gotten better but I would actually say, after today s trip, that things are worse and enough is enough, I will not be going back. In my opinion its worth the drive to Fayetteville s Ozark Natural Foods which has a much larger selection, I have NEVER had an issue with moldy rotten food (out of 20+ trips) and the salespeople are nice and helpful. I am also equally unimpressed with the rude salesmen and women who turn their noses up and roll their eyes every time I ask them to put my groceries in a bag. (a paper bag that I reuse actually, but really that shouldn t matter). They have actually told me to remember to bring my own bag next time if I was not going to buy one of their reusable bags. Now I am a huge proponent of recycling and being green which is why my paper (and plastic) bags get reused, but that s my business and they shouldn t get such an attitude towards their own customers. Not only that but their business saves money when their customers use their own bags rather than bags purchased by the company; so why not donate those savings to a charitable organization since its the customers making the sacrifice not the business? At least then they d have a little more substance to back-up their holier-than-thou attitude. If I could have given this business no stars I would have, its a horrible and disgusting place.

Bought ground beef there out of the freezer case and every package I thawed was spoiled!! I will take the time to make a once a month trip to Whole Foods in Tulsa rather than shop at Cooks! Lots of dusty, out of date products and I would NOT trust the freshness of any of their bin items! So sad because it could be so much more and better than it is! Besides, the employees there look like they are working to a funeral dirge and not very kind at all. This is not just a one time experience with me, I have tried many times to give it "one more chance" so, no more chances!

My sister & I went there this weekend and bought a bean and rice burrito out of the deli that was rotten! Watch the food in the deli. Smell it before you take a bite. Ask them when it was prepared. That is what we should have done.

Yeah, as a past employee (and i was employed there when you dated this message) i worked there and found some pretty nasty things sitting in the deli. Many of the things on the shelves are out of date and have been collecting dust for many months sometimes longer.
