User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe're new to the area and trying some of the restaurants. This one is excellent. We stopped in for lunch and got great meals for a great price. I agree with one of the reviewers on the great chips and salsa. We will be returning whenever we're in the area.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTampico's is a good restaurant for just-couples and families. Tamp's does not give me the runs, fills me up quickly and has good margaritas. Great for take-home leftovers. Atmosphere is relaxed, jeans and clean shirts are allowed.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTampicos is an excellent place to eat if you want authentic Mexican food. My favorite thing is their homemade salsa and chips, made fresh everyday. I don't even bother with store bought anymore and theirs is also cheaper. You can stop in anytime and just ask for their chips and salsa to go. The portions are huge and the staff are always friendly and attentive.
