Uncle Willie's Original Bar-B-Q and Fish

I have to admit Oakland has been lacking good BBQ since Old Man Flintroy passed away. I miss Flints I must try this place because the reviews make me wantg to. I hope I am not disappointed. I am and Old School Cook and I ussually don't like to buy meals that I know how to cook because I am hard to satisfy, but I will definitely check this spot out.

I can't really write a true review, I didn't eat there. BUT, my son and I showed up the Sunday after a Cal game and they were closed. The door was open and we went in. The woman who was in charge was so nice as to let us get some cold ribs and some sauce to go. Warmed the ribs up, tryed them with and without sauce. They were awesome. I smoke ribs and know what good is. To send some home cold and have them as good as they were says something. More impressive than the ribs was the sauce. I live up North and get to the Bay Area once or maybe twice in a year. I WILL be stopping to try them out when they do all the work. Great people, small, quaint, perfect for someone who wants taste over glamour. I'm pissed I didn't get the sides that were offered, I felt blessed just to get the ribs, they were closed remember.
