User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOk, so I read the reviews on here and decided to check this place out. I have driven by El Centinela a million times going to Kroger in Farragut, but had never stopped in. A couple of friends and I decided to head over there after work the other night and I've got to tell you that we absolutely loved it. We ate outside on the patio, had a pitcher of beer and enjoyed our complimentary chips and salsa. I love spicy so I ordered the Enchiladas Suizas with green chili sauce. It was amazing. Every ingredient was so fresh and the chicken was cooked to perfection. One of my friends ordered fajitas and the other had a combination dinner of tacos, burritos and a chili relleno. We had excellent service and the food was resonably priced. I have definitely found my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Knoxville.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis place has the best mexican food, hands down. We tried it on Cinco De Mayo, and have gone back every week since. Everything seems freshly made and comes out hot and quick and correctly. The menu is very diverse and has lots of choices. The prices are also great. Much better and cheaper than any of the competition. If you like Mexican, you'll love this place.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWow! Who knew you could find great authentic mexican food in Knoxville? Martin and the staff at El Centinela create a wonderful dining experience at an affordable price. Best of all, my kids love it too! I highly recommend this hidden treasure in Farragut.
