Crooked Creek Guest Ranch

After our daughter's Casper Wyoming wedding, we took a week and stayed at the Crooked Creek Guest Ranch outside of Debois. The ranch had the perfect tucked away feel. The views from the top of the mountain as we went to the ranch were awesome. Your in a heavily treed ascent and would periodically punch out to an overlook of the valley below and the painted desert that was just east of the valley. The horseback riding was relaxing, but we could have just as easily went 4 wheeling. The bar had pool tables that were enjoyable. The modest crowd was well heeled, so we were at ease as a family there. Unlimiting riding trails, beautiful vista's and just under an hour to the TETON's make this my favorite secret place. Cabins were quiet,cozy and clean. Good place to relax at after serious photography and hiking. Restaurant was delicious, if a little pricy, with generous portions.
