    AWESOME...what a surprise tucked away in a strip mall off of HWY 7. My new FAVORITE Japanese restaurant.

    From the welcome greeting and throughout the your time at Akira, the staff will make you feel at home.

    I got the specials and then some. The fatty tuna melted in my mouth, the unagi was enormous and delicious, tempora shrimp roll and spicy crab roll were similarly quite good.

    Now that I know Akira is for real, next time I'll try some saki.

    Akira is great. The sushi is fresh and the specials are excellent. Their special rolls of the day a really tasty and inventive. Service is impeccable. The dress code is casual and the decor is very modern. This is some of the best sushi in the metro area.

    LOVE Akira sushi. Best place in the area!!! great service, atmosphere and food. The only thing i wish was better is the salad dressing. But other than that it is great!
